Dakota Realty AI may be a portfolio, prototype, demonstration, or testing project. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, financial documents, legal documents, government identification numbers, payment information, or confidential information unless the application clearly states that it is a live production service and you understand the risks.

Depending on how you use Dakota Realty AI, we may collect account information, property preference information, listing information, uploaded content, AI/RAG interaction data, appointment information, and technical information.

• Name, email address, profile image, login/session information, and OAuth profile information if you sign in.
• Property preferences, preferred cities, preferred states, budget ranges, buyer/renter/seller/investor preferences, and onboarding answers.
• Showing requests, appointment requests, contact form messages, agent inquiries, and support requests.
• Listing-related information, property descriptions, listing images, uploaded files, and agent/profile content.
• Questions, prompts, retrieved context, AI responses, RAG document-search results, usage limits, and timestamps related to AI assistant features.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, request logs, error logs, and authentication/session activity.

3. RAG and AI Assistant Features

Dakota Realty AI may include retrieval-augmented generation, also known as RAG, document search, property search, listing assistant, and AI question-answering features.

When you use these features, your questions, prompts, uploaded content, retrieved documents, listing context, conversation context, and related metadata may be processed to generate responses. These features may use third-party AI providers, vector databases, embedding models, hosted databases, cloud storage, and application logs.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or based on limited retrieved context. You should independently verify all property, legal, financial, investment, tax, and real estate information before relying on it.

4. Uploaded Files and Listing Images

If you upload listing images, profile images, documents, audio, or other files, those files may be stored in cloud storage and associated with your account, listing, profile, inquiry, or application feature.

You should only upload content that you have the right to use and share. Do not upload confidential, illegal, infringing, sensitive, or regulated content.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The application may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies to support login sessions, security, preferences, analytics, rate limits, AI usage limits, and application functionality.

6. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, test, and improve Dakota Realty AI.
• To authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
• To display listings, profiles, dashboards, property preferences, appointments, and uploaded content.
• To provide RAG-powered search, AI assistant responses, document retrieval, property Q&A, and listing-related recommendations.
• To support guest usage limits, rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, logging, and security monitoring.
• To respond to contact, support, showing, or appointment requests.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations and protect the application.

7. How Information Is Stored

Information may be stored using third-party infrastructure providers, including hosting platforms, database providers, cloud storage providers, authentication providers, AI service providers, vector search tools, analytics services, and logging services.

The application may use services such as Vercel, Render, Google Cloud Storage, OAuth providers, PostgreSQL databases, vector search tools, and AI API providers.

8. Third-Party Services

Dakota Realty AI may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, databases, cloud storage, AI responses, embeddings, vector search, analytics, email, maps, logging, and security.

Third-party services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help operate the application, including hosting, database, storage, analytics, authentication, email, AI, and security providers.

We may also disclose information if required to comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, protect security, prevent abuse, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others.

Do not use the application for real transactions, real estate decisions, legal decisions, financial decisions, investment decisions, or storing sensitive information unless the application clearly states that it is a live production service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the application after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
